Jordans Open Farm Project

During the conceptual thinking for an initial approach to Jordans I came up with The Open Farm Project, something which I’d still like to develop. Jordans have the control over their farms that would allow them to create this project.
Using a Facebook group to allow the groups users to manage a parcel of farmland through voting on the issues surrounding growing cereals. The majority vote gets actualised in the real world. The end product of the project being a limited edition cereal.
Engagement could be built through content from blogs, photos and videos from farmers, the Jordans team and other stakeholders. Webcams (tractorcam, kitchencam) could show progress of the actual crops, the farmhands, or wildlife populating the farm and field.
